Corvallis-OSU Piano International presents internationally renowned pianist Sofya Gulyak, winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition—the first woman in the competition’s history to receive this distinction.

Praised by The Washington Post for her “tremendous precision and colouration…exquisite soft playing …with delicacy”,  Gulyak returns for her second appearance on Corvallis-OSU Piano International’s Steinway Piano Series.

Her program will include works by Bach and Chopin, and will conclude with Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, featuring a cadenza composed by Gulyak herself.
