JERMAINE FOWLER

One of Hollywood’s fastest rising talent and creator, Jermaine Fowler both stars in and is an executive producer of SUPERIOR DONUTS.

Raised in Hyattsville, Md., Fowler began performing stand-up in 2006 while still in high school. On his 20th birthday, he boarded a Megabus and moved to New York City with three pieces of luggage and a dream. As a stand-up comic, he has toured nationally with College Humor and Comedy Central on Campus. Also, he was one half of the sketch group BodegaCat Sanchez, alongside Kevin Barnett. In 2012 Fowler was selected as one of Variety’s “New Faces” at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. In 2017 Forbes' featured Fowler on their highly coveted 30 Under 30 list.
In 2014 Fowler co-created and starred in the truTV sketch-comedy series “Friends of the People.” The following year, he starred in his own SHOWTIME special “Give ‘Em Hell Kid.” His additional television credits include “Crashing,” produced by Judd Apatow, “Robot Chicken,” “BoJack Horseman,” THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN and the 69th ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, for which Fowler was the on-camera announcer.

Fowler can next be seen in director Boots Riley's SORRY TO BOTHER YOU opposite Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson and Steven Yeun. Produced by Forest Whitaker, the movie premiered to rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2018, and will be released by Annapurna Pictures on June 23, 2018.

DAWN LUTRELL

Oregon based comedian, speaker, and possibly Ellen Degeneres’ shorter cousin.

Once upon a time at the young age of 48, Dawn Lutrell decided the world needed more to laugh at. Even without the help of her fairy godmother (who was busy hot-flashing and learning tai chi), Dawn magically transformed into a sought-after stand-up (except when she’s napping) comedian and addiction recovery speaker.

She has performed in clubs and recovery conferences all over the West Coast – including a showcase at 'The Comedy Store' in La Jolla, California, where she also opened for the 'Best of San Diego'.

In 2018, a hilarious audition video of Dawn impersonating Ellen caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres herself and featured Dawn in her opening monologue for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
