Students will experience a variety of eco-municipalities, universities and infrastructure projects to explore the concept of sustainable development through the policies and culture of Scandinavia, a region leading the world in sustainability solutions. Students will explore and evaluate a variety of sustainability efforts, such as eco-municipalities, regenerative agriculture systems, and offshore wind energy. The itinerary includes exploring three regions (Copenhagen/Malmo, Karlskrona, and Stockholm) where students will engage in field trips to innovative infrastructure projects and tours of eco-municipalities. With university partners, students will learn about research and innovative sustainable policies and practices in each region.
