How can course-based undergraduate research (CUREs) and intentional research mentoring bring Principle 3 of OSU’s Quality Teaching Framework to life? This session shares concrete examples from URSA Engage and the Global Politics Research Lab to show how embedding authentic research into courses can deepen learning, foster equity, and strengthen mentoring relationships. Participants will leave with practical ideas for aligning their own courses with Principles 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 while making research a more accessible norm for OSU students.

Facilitated by Michael Trevathan, School of Public Policy, CTL Teaching Fellow and Brooke O'Brien, Center for Teaching and Learning
