This exhibit runs from March 5 to April 18. There will be an opening reception on March 7 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Little Gallery, 210 Kidder Hall.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, 2024, The Little Gallery presents, Perseverance: A Tribute to Grace and Resilience, an exhibition showing a selection of works from regional artist, Vicki Idema.  Started in 1910, International Women’s Day, was first celebrated to bring equality to all women around the world.  Today, International Women’s Month is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.  This exhibition explores the artist’s use of clay and paper to illustrate and bring awareness to some of the social and environmental issues still affecting women and to highlight those who overcame obstacles to reach their goals.
