The Magic Barrel: A Reading to Fight Hunger

A benefit for Linn Benton Food Share featuring food, drink, live music, and readings by award-winning Oregon authors.

The Mid-Willamette Valley’s premier literary event, The Magic Barrel: A Reading to Fight Hunger, is held each fall in Corvallis, Oregon, to raise funds for Linn Benton Food Share. This unique event features food, drinks, live music, and short readings by Oregon authors. This year, featured authors include

Proceeds of food, beer, and wine sales benefit the Linn Benton Food Share, as well as proceeds from the sale of authors’ books, courtesy of our hometown heroes at Grass Roots Books & Music.

Doors open at 6pm, the program begins at 7pm.

$12 – Advance; Students/Seniors
$15 – At the Door
