About this Event
Bard in the Quad returns for its 13th season with William Shakespeare’s dazzling romance, The Tempest. Performances run August 2-5 and 9-12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Quad on the Oregon State University Campus.
Set on a strange and distant island, Prospero, a sorcerer and rightful Duke of Milan, conjures a storm to bring his usurping brother and various conspirators to his shores in an attempt to restore his daughter to her rightful place in the royal court. This intriguing tale features sprites, monsters, young love, and lots of intrigue in a lively production full of music and magic.
