What did Earth look like a million years ago? OSU's Marine and Geology Repository holds tens of thousands of sediment cores from the world's oceans, each containing clues about our planet's history. In this Knowledge Break webcast, you'll get a behind the scenes tour of the new, state-of-the-art repository including the 33,000-square-foot refrigerator that houses these sediment records. Travel back in time with our scientists to see geologic evidence of ice shelves, glaciers, megafloods and earthquakes. Featured stops on the virtual journey include the seafloor of Greenland, under the ice in the Antarctic and much closer to home along the dynamic Oregon coast.
