About this Event
1030 SW Madison Avenue, Corvallis, OR 97331
Join other transfer students in dropping by the Basic Needs Center (BNC) to decorate a Halloween cookie, score a goody bag, and ask your questions about being new to OSU and Corvallis. What fun things are there to do in town? Where are the best study spots on campus? How do I save money on textbooks? Bring all those questions you have about Corvallis, OSU or the BNC, and come hang out!
This event is part of OSU’s celebration of National Transfer Student Week - transfer students only please (to see the full list of activities, please visit beav.es/NTSW).
Note: A vegan, gluten-free and nut-free option will be available.
About the Basic Needs Center: At the BNC, our student team works together to build community, share resources, develop strategies and have fun along the way. BNC Student Leaders use their experience and training to help other students find resources and create a plan to make it to graduation in an increasingly expensive college environment. When students visit the BNC, they learn about the main campus food pantry, the BNC Textbook Lending Program, housing strategies, and other resources funded by the student fees they pay each term, oftentimes over a cup of coffee or snack.
