In this presentation, Dr. Aradhna Tripati (UCLA) will show how she built communities of learning and practice to advance a culture of inclusion at the nation’s first university center for diversity in environmental science. By sharing key findings from pilot and demographic work, she will answer the questions: How can data and interventions transform science? How can we achieve systemic change and prioritize the retention of diverse scholars, improve institutional climates, and support faculty and early career development?

The keynote lecture is open to the public. ASL interpretation and CART captioning will be provided. For accommodation requests, please e-mail Thi Truong at truonthi@oregonstate.edu.
