Join faulty-leader Andy Jones for an information session to learn more about this 4-credit, 2-week program in Panama. TROPICA is an advanced undergraduate field course that immerses students in one of the world’s most well studied tropical ecosystems. Based at the research facilities of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) and surrounding sites in the Republic of Panama, students will gain hands-on experience studying the biodiversity, ecology, and conservation challenges of Central American forests.
