Join us for an engaging panel of Oregon State University alumni who have turned their skills and talents into thriving freelance careers. Hear firsthand how they navigate client relationships, manage projects and leverage their expertise to create flexible, rewarding work. Bring your questions and gain insights to help shape your own freelance journey. Panelists Include: Annemarie Allain (Political Science, 2000) Founder of A2 Communications, Annemarie has 25+ years in experiential marketing, event production and communications. She develops clear, engaging content for clients including Mars, OSU Foundations and AdvaMed. Kimberly Gratz (MAIS English/Anthropology, 2012; MFA Creative Writing, 2025) Kimberly has worked in higher education since 2009 as an editor, instructor and advisor, while also freelancing for nonprofits, corporations and creative agencies. She is currently completing a novel and short story collection. Kevin Coalwell (Digital Communication Arts, 2021) Kevin is a content and brand specialist with expertise in design, web and video production. Alongside a tech career, he has completed freelance projects in branding, 3D and front-end development.
