The School of History, Philosophy and Religion is funding the symposium, which will address five national health systems: Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Canada and Chile. The last panel will expand the comparison to other countries.
The keynote speaker is world renowned health economist Robert G. Evans, PhD, faculty in the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research and emeritus professor in the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia.
