An interactive discussion on leadership, mentorship, and inclusiveness in science with Dr. Erin Pettit

Erin is a glaciologist in OSU's College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences and the founder of "Inspiring Girls Expeditions," an organization which aims to empower young women, especially women of color and other untapped groups, through science, art, and wilderness exploration. Erin will relate how she began and grew the program as part of her academic career, the challenges she faced during the process, and the value of persisting despite those challenges. Come share your ideas. Refreshments provided.
