Lecture by Dr. Joel Michael Reynolds
Dr. Joel Michael Reynolds is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the 2017-19 Rice Family Fellow in Bioethics and Humanities at The Hastings Center. His research focuses on analyzing and improving biomedical practice and theory with respect to people with disabilities. His work has appeared in the American Journal of Bioethics, AMA Journal of Ethics, Nature Biotechnology, Hypatia, Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine, and the APA Newsletter on Philosophy and Medicine. He is the author of Ethics After Ableism: Disability, Pain, and the History of Morality forthcoming with The University of Minnesota Press and co-editor with Christine Wieseler of The Disability Bioethics Reader, under contract with Routledge.
