Celebrate the wonders of whales this holiday season! Join us for games, films, and hands-on activities highlighting these incredible creatures, with a special focus on migrating gray whales.

From mid-December through mid-January, gray whales make their journey south to the warm waters of Baja Mexico, passing the Oregon coast along the way. Each year, more than 20,000 gray whales travel these waters, making them the most commonly sighted whales here!

The American Cetacean Society will be onsite daily with a table and activities, and we’ll have our own table featuring a fun whale headband craft and games. Plus, catch a daily talk in the auditorium at 1 PM—some presented by us, some by the American Cetacean Society.

We are holding expanded hours for this special event! We will be open daily during the week of Friday, Dec. 26 through Wednesday, Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person, ages 5 years and older. Admission is free for children younger than 5 years.
