• Thomas Shelly, academic advisor & recruiter for the College of Education, whose Ment2Teach program received a $10,000 grant to provide personalized support to teacher candidates in undergraduate programs.
• Nikia Braxton-Franklin, alcohol and drug prevention specialist with Student Health Services, whose In Search of Sisterhood program received a $5,750 grant to enhance the undergraduate experience though culturally-based extracurricular activities.
