Hosted by Marine and Coastal Opportunities (MACO) annually, this event brings together students, researchers, and organizations to celebrate and raise awareness about the ocean, its vital connection to our Earth’s wellbeing, and ways students can get involved with OSU marine programs. All are welcome at this free event. 

While the official United Nations designation for World Ocean Day is June 8 annually, the 2026 event will be celebrated by MACO on June 5, 2026, to allow more student attendees to participate.
